Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, affiliated with the Quarter Century Foundation for Leadership and Innovation, have successfully concluded the “Zwaya Sajaya” event, recording a remarkable participation of 170 girls, surpassing the targeted number of 140 participants. This achievement reflects the strong community trust in the foundation’s programs and its role in empowering young girls.
This new milestone highlights the deep societal impact and the confidence of both the girls and their families in Sajaya Girls’ initiatives. The event attracted participants from diverse groups, including graduates of children’s centers and girls from the Madam area, alongside the active involvement of 13 girls volunteering within the program. This diversity underscores the vibrant community engagement and the genuine desire of girls to develop themselves and explore their talents.
The activities during the event spanned seven main tracks: music, theater, science and technology, sports, arts, literature and languages, and life skills. The workshops were carefully designed to provide interactive experiences enabling the girls to hone their talents and boost their self-confidence in a supportive and creative learning environment.
Commenting on the event, Ms. Sheikha Al Shamsi, Director of Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, stated: “We are proud of the large turnout for ‘Zwaya Sajaya,’ which reflects the community’s trust in our programs. Surpassing the target participation number clearly indicates the girls’ eagerness for creative spaces where they can express themselves and discover their passions. We look forward to continuing to offer quality initiatives that meet the aspirations of the new generation and align with their ambitions.”
