Rubu’ Qarn Center for Science and Technology Launches “Scientific Residency” Program on August 9
As part of Sharjah’s vision to build a knowledge-based economy and invest in national talent, theRubu’ Qarn Center for Science and Technology is launching the “Scientific Residency” program on August 9, 2025, at its headquarters in Sharjah, under the theme “Research with Impact.”
The year-long national research experience is designed for high school students from across the UAE, aiming to immerse them in intensive, hands-on scientific exploration. The program empowers youth to engage in real-world research environments, guided by a team of expert mentors and specialists.
Structured across four progressive levels, the program begins with foundational research skills, moves through applied practice, advances into high-level development and publication, and culminates in projects that create tangible impact in both academic and community contexts.
This initiative aligns with Sharjah’s broader efforts to champion research and innovation as pillars of sustainable development, reinforcing its position as a regional hub for science and knowledge.
The program seeks to attract 40 to 60 passionate participants from grades 9 to 12. Registration is now open in preparation for the program’s launch on August 9, 2025, at the Quarter Century Center for Science and Technology.
