The program is part of Sajaya\u2019s comprehensive vision to empower young women by developing their knowledge, skills, values, and personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program offers a rich selection of interactive workshops that combine arts, heritage, innovation, and technology, providing participants with hands-on learning experiences that encourage them to discover their talents, develop their passions, and build practical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the <strong>Arts and Creativity Pathway<\/strong>, participants will explore a variety of experiences, including drawing, mosaic art, international art movements, photography, and music. The program also features design workshops that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, including AI-assisted digital illustration and digital journal design using <strong>Canva<\/strong>, reflecting Sajaya\u2019s commitment to integrating art with technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Heritage and Identity<\/strong> component includes workshops introducing participants to the values of <strong>Al Sanaa<\/strong>\u2014the traditional Emirati code of etiquette and conduct\u2014along with sessions exploring Emirati proverbs and their meanings, traditional professions, and aspects of historical community life. Participants will also engage in heritage-inspired artistic projects that strengthen their connection to Emirati culture while encouraging contemporary forms of creative expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program also focuses on developing personal and leadership skills through workshops in content creation, theatrical performance, and the organization of volunteer initiatives. These activities promote responsibility, teamwork, and community engagement, with selected initiatives qualifying for accredited youth volunteer service hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the May agenda includes cultural activities, recreational experiences, and interactive educational field trips that introduce participants to different cultures and provide inspiring real-world learning opportunities within a safe and supportive environment that encourages dialogue, exploration, and self-confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sajaya affirmed that its May programs continue its mission of preparing a generation of young women who are creative, proactive, deeply connected to their cultural identity, and confidently engaged with the world through high-quality programs that reflect their interests and future aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in <strong>2004<\/strong> as a department within <strong>Sharjah Children<\/strong>, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah became an independent institution in <strong>2012<\/strong> under the directive of <strong>Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi<\/strong>, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Rubu\u2019 Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators. Today, Sajaya remains one of the UAE\u2019s leading institutions dedicated to developing the talents and potential of girls aged <strong>13 to 18<\/strong> across a wide range of creative disciplines.
