Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah Concludes Fourth Edition of Winter Program “From Sharjah to the Clouds”
Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, successfully concluded the fourth edition of its winter program “From Sharjah to the Clouds,” held from December 15 to 29.
The program witnessed the participation of 476 girls aged between 13 and 18, who engaged in a series of specialized workshops and creative activities conducted in collaboration with experts from various fields.
The program took place at the main center in Al Qarayen, along with centers in Khorfakkan and Kalba in the eastern region, and in Al Hamriyah, Al Bataeh, and Mleiha. It featured 16 specialized workshops covering diverse creative disciplines, alongside winter camps and mountain hiking trips that involved 112 girls. The activities emphasized the development of intellectual, sensory, and motor skills.
Sajaya also organized basketball and volleyball tournaments involving more than 73 athletes, where competitions contributed to enhancing teamwork, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and social skills.
This program is part of Sajaya’s vision to empower young girls, enhance their youth skills, and equip them with the tools necessary to pursue promising careers across various sectors.
The program’s successful conclusion aligns with the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, who seeks to provide a nurturing environment for creativity and productivity, aiming to prepare a conscious and influential generation that contributes to community development.
