Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah Launches Spring Program Under the Theme “With Sajaya, Spring Blooms Within Us”
Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, an affiliate of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is set to launch its seasonal spring program under the theme “With Sajaya, Spring Blooms Within Us,” taking place from April 6 to 10.
The program will be held at Sajaya’s main center in Al Qarayen, Sharjah, as well as at centers in Khorfakkan and Kalba, the Ladies Club in Al Madam, and the Children’s Center in Dibba Al-Hisn.
Open to girls aged 13 to 18, this year’s edition features a diverse lineup of 12 interactive workshops blending creativity, knowledge, and hands-on experiences. The aim is to refine and develop participants’ skills through artistic, cultural, and technical activities while instilling essential values such as respect for others, healthy competition, and environmental awareness.
The program highlights sustainability-focused workshops such as vehicle maintenance, greenhouse farming, and leather bag making using recycled materials, promoting eco-conscious practices.
It also fosters self-discipline and respectful communication through cultural workshops like “Secrets of the Japanese Kitchen” and “A Week in Korea,” where participants explore global cultures and gain practical life skills.
On the artistic side, the program offers creative workshops in oil painting, sewing and design, and handicrafts, in addition to field-based experiences that nurture artistic taste and expand creative horizons.
Sheikha Al Shamsi, Director of Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, emphasized that the program is part of Sajaya’s ongoing efforts to empower girls and broaden their perspectives by providing a stimulating and safe environment that allows them to explore their talents and grow across various fields, reinforcing their role in society as leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
